The 35th IOP Annual Conference on Plasma Physics is an ideal opportunity for plasma physicists from all areas such as Magnetic fusion, High energy density, Laser plasmas, Astrophysics, Low temperature and dusty plasmas to meet and discuss ideas and recent developments for the first time in the grand setting of the IOP headquarters in London. Young researchers are particularly encouraged with reduced rates available for students.
The conference will consist of morning and afternoon sessions of contributed talks and posters along with invited talks from the following speakers:
S Atzeni - Physics of Fast Ignition
S Cowley - Plasma Science: Advancing Knowledge in the National Interest - reflections for the UK
I Chapman - Sawtooth Instabilities
J Chittenden - 3D MHD Simulations of High Energy Plasmas.
J Connor - Scale Invariances
S Hooker - Physics of Electron Acceleration Experiments.
M Kong - Plasmas in Medicine
A Phelps - Magnetospheric Radiowave Generation
L Silva - Extreme Plasma Physics
E Surrey - Negative Ion Sources for Neutral Beam Heating
D Samsonov - Waves and Dynamic Phenomena in Complex Plasmas

The evening social program provides an excellent opportunity for researchers to interact in an informal setting. On Tuesday evening, a welcome reception on the London Eye with a meal at a nearby restaurant is planned. A Young Researcher Reception combined with a poster session on Wednesday evening will provide an excellent chance to experience the scope of plasma science at the conference. The conference dinner on Thursday evening promises to be a wonderful evening in the prestigious setting of the Royal Society.
All talks should last a maximum of 20 minutes which includes time for questions. Therefore we would suggest a 15-17 minute talk allowing 3-5 minutes for questions.
Contributors wishing to submit a poster for the conference should make their poster A0 in size and portrait in orientation.
