| Organised by: | the Tribology Group of the Institute of Physics |
| Sponsored by: | the IMechE Tribology Group |
Tribology is the science of friction and wear and a key factor in the operation of any piece of mechanical equipment designed to meet stringent standards of performance and efficiency. Modern motorsport offers a range of opportunities to match tribological solutions to demanding applications. New engineering alloys and materials, surface treatments and coatings as well as modelling techniques are bringing about dramatic extensions of the performance envelopes of both individual components and complete engineering systems. This seminar will be an opportunity to hear some of the latest developments from those working at the cutting edge of both research and application engineering in this field. Please note places on this event are limited.
