Venue

Trinity College is located in the heart of Cambridge and is accessible by both air, with easy access to the main international airports in London as well as Stansted Airport, and by rail with services operating from London Kings Cross and Liverpool Street.

There are 29 colleges in Cambridge with Trinity being one of the largest. Founded in 1546 by Henry VIII, the college boasts a wealth of history including the famous library designed by Sir Christopher Wren. The courts and buildings date mostly from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries and are among the most beautiful in Cambridge. Travel

By Train
Cambridge station is served by trains from London King's Cross and London Liverpool Street and also from the Midlands. To view the location of the station in relation to Trinity College, a campus map can be downloaded via the following link. Further information about local and national train services is available on the National Rail website.

Taxis
Taxis to the College can be hired from Cambridge Station. There are also bus services from the station into the centre of town.

By Bus
Trinity College is approximately ten minutes' walk across town from the main Drummer Street Bus Station.

By Car
From the M11: Exit the M11 at Junction 13. Turn right into Cambridge on the Madingley Road (A1303). Carry straight on down this road to the roundabout at the end, leaving Storey's Way to your left and Grange Road to your right. At the roundabout, turn right onto Queen's Road ('the Backs'). The turning to Trinity, marked by No Entry signs, is on the left-hand side immediately after a pedestrian crossing.
From the A14 (Peterborough direction): Follow signs into Cambridge, entering on the Huntingdon Road (A1307). Go straight on at the left-hand junction with Victoria Road, and then immediately turn right down Mount Pleasant, following the Ring Road. Keep following the Ring Road southdown Queen's Road. The turning to Trinity, marked by No Entry signs, is on the left-hand side immediately after a pedestrian crossing.

By Air
London Stansted is approximately 30 miles south of Cambridge. More information about the airport can be found by visiting the website. There are regular train and bus services to the town centre.

London Heathrow is approximately 70 miles from Cambridge. National Express run a regular coach service from Heathrow to Cambridge; please allow at least three hours journey time. Coach times and online booking can be found on the website. Alternatively, travel by train via London.

London Gatwick is a little under 100 miles from Cambridge. Further information about the airport can be found via the website. There is a coach service from Gatwick to Cambridge; allow at least three hours journey time. Alternatively, travel by train via London.

There are a limited number of European flights from Cambridge Airport (01223 373 737).

Accommodation

Single en-suite bedrooms are available on campus within a short walking distance of the main conference facilities. Rooms are on a per person per night basis and include breakfast. Please note that bedrooms are student rooms only and include bed and private facilities.  

Accommodation is not included in the registration fee but can be booked at an additional charge per night when registering for the conference. All information about rates can be found in the Registration section of the conference website.
