The High Energy Physics Group

The High Energy Physics Group is a subject group in the Nuclear and Particle Physics Division of the Institute. We aim to stimulate interest and advance progress in the study of particle physics.

The High Energy Particle Physics Group welcomes all members of the Institute to its web pages and invites them to become a member of the Group. Our activities centre around a number of half-day meetings on specific topics and a three-day conference each year. A particular feature of the latter is the opportunity for all third-year PhD students to present their work in a talk and at a poster session. We produce a newsletter for members twice a year.

The HEPP group is able to provide support to PhD students to enable them to attend relevant conferences.  For more information, please click here.

We welcome suggestions about possible meetings from members of the UK particle physics community - contact our Half-Day Meetings Organiser, Laura Kormos.

Guidelines for organising half day meetings are available here.
