Forthcoming Meetings

A one day meeting on Hydrological Optics is to be held at 76 Portland Place, London W1B 1NT on Friday 28 March 2008 from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.

We invite contributions on any aspect of Hydrological Optics, including:

• Radiometry
• Light field modelling
• Remote sensing
• Underwater visibility
• Measurements of optical properties
• Novel instrument development
• Underwater holography

Oral presentations will be of 15 minutes duration, with an additional 5 minutes for discussion.

Photon08 

Photon08 is the largest optics conference event in the UK and the fourth in the series; following Photon02 in Cardiff, Photon04 in Glasgow and Photon06 in Manchester. Photon08 will be held earlier than previous conferences, on 26 – 29 August 2008 at the Edinburgh Conference Centre on the Heriot-Watt Campus.
