Student societies

Nexus is proud to be able to support the work of student physics societies throughout the UK and Ireland and is happy to invite applications from student societies that wish to become officially affiliated with Nexus. Affiliation is free and involves giving the Institute your contact details and some information about your society. Societies can look forward to the following benefits:

• the ability to apply for grants from Nexus in order to fund activities
• the chance to submit entires for the annual Nexus Society Awards
• a £50 start-of-year grant upon (re)affiliation, as well as promotional Nexus items
• creating your own page on MyIOP, the members' network, where you can contact other societies and list events in the interactive calendar
• the chance to attend the annual Nexus Student Conference in November and to showcase your society at this event
